My first chapter
I'm still working on my first chapter. It is really hard because while I'm writing, it makes me feel that what I'm writing is very lame. I just keep downing myself when I shouldn't do so. It's really hard also to get the people's attention. I'm just lucky to have a very unique plot (as our class president says). I really don't know how to build a structure where every possible details will be connected to each other without misleading the readers. I would like to make it not quite straight to the point because if I'll do that, where's the thrill? I want to make the story really interesting even though that part of the story is not really a main or important part. I would like to make it like every bits of the chapters has something important in it and there's always thrill in it.
I have second thoughts on whether writing by myself or having someone to help me with it. I just personally think that the story might go a little crazy if there are two heads. I think it's better with one head. But it is still important for me to gather as much information that I can include in the story because this story isn't just like Harry Potter where I think everything is make believe (some parts are not though).
Some things are really clouding my mind like how in the second paragraph of this blog is me arguing with myself because to be honest, it is really hard to make a novel and I've started way too early. I don't even know that much about some of the very complicated grammar issues that I get when I try to make the online grammar checker fix my works. I have tried to ask my cousin who is also a writer and so far her works are really amazing. I also asked for an advice from my English teacher and their suggestions are definitely relevant to my problem. It can help my story but I don't know how to do their suggestions. I really don't.
So probably in the next blog I'm gonna have to talk about the second chapter because I'm actually a little bit close to finishing my first chapter. See you in my journey to my very first novel.
